Back Home from a well earned holiday which was exactly what I needed in so many ways. In the 5 days I was away I had time to relax, reinforce my mindset and most importantly focus. Focus on reasons why training is important to me mentally and physically, focus on why I need to push myself and focus on my drive which is everything to me in regards to my strength as a person.
Having this quality time off has definitely gave me a better perspective of how important rest is, especially on ones mental state.
Being a trainer and coach I’ll always state the necessity of rest in any training program but for those who have productively pushed them selves past there physical and mental limitations then rest is definitely mandatory.
