Found this guy with about an hour of light left, and he made us wait the whole time to get any shot of him. We walked out to a very safe distance from where he was bedded down, just hoping that he would stand up. We could just see him through the brush as he looked around. A good 30min had past and nothing, light was fading, and and feet were frozen but I was committed until I couldn't push the ISO on my camera any higher within reason. Another 15min past, still nothing and I was really close to calling it. Finally we saw more movement, and up he stood to join the other two moose for their evening dinner. He really pushed how long I was willing to wait, I had pushed the ISO to the brink of my comfort level While not the closest and clearest shot, I am very happy to have waited for him.
