✈️ HOW TO SURVIVE 28HRS OF TRAVEL ✈️
Happy Sunday my lovelies! Today is the day that I’m off to Australia! Unfortunately without my beloved because her holidays finish today 😞 However, it’s that time of the year where I get to brave the 28hr journey from Bordeaux to Brisbane!!
I’ve been doing this once a year for the last 3 years so I’ve gotten quite used to it. That being said, I’m often dead by the end of it each time but hey, we do what we can 😜
1️⃣ Sleep 💤 Put on your eye mask, neck pillow & blanket! You’re gonna be passing a bunch of time zones so just sleep through them all & restart where you arrive. ✈️
2️⃣ Stretch those legs 🦵 every couple of hours (if you’re not sleeping or when you wake up). Get up and do 2 lapse of the plane. ✈️
3️⃣ Entertainment! Movies, Games, TV Shows, Puzzles! Whatever your mind game is: bring it & do them! Long flights also have a wide variety of entertainment selections 😁
4️⃣ Talk to your neighbour. Or others on the plane ! There is sometimes a texting function with other seats on the plane where you can have conversations. 😁
5️⃣ Wifi? If you can’t survive 14hrs without internet, buy a wifi package and browse away while you’re up in the sky! ✈️
6️⃣ Try not to look at the time every half hour. It’s easier said than done. But just avoid looking at the time 😂
7️⃣ Alcohol 🔞? If you have issues sleeping on flights but alcohol makes you sleepy, buy a small bottle and let your mind wonder off to a blissful sleep. ✈️
8️⃣ Write a few journal entries 🖊 Nothing helps clear the head than writing every thought down on a piece of paper 📝! & then sleep 😴 ✈️
9️⃣ Sit in the aisle seat 💺! There’s more space to sleep, it’s easier to go per when you have a bladder like mine & go stretch your legs! 🔟 Last but not least, Eat!! You’re stuck on a plane for around 14hrs before you get to your next layover. So bring snacks and eat till your ❤️s content!
What do you do on long flights? What’s the longest journey you took on a plane or train??
