🔥Jumping right in today!🔥285lbs. (130kgs) 4x4. Wasn't sure what today would be like but I got there and decided to go all out for it. Some of my results from #thorspowerprogram deadlift up from 435 to 455. Bench press up from 265 to 280 recorded. Got 285 up but not recorded 😅 and overhead press up from 135 to 155. Well after finishing the #thorspowerprogram last week. I decide I was going to take 12-14 weeks and do something else. Then start the program back up. Well yesterday I get an email for the release of #version2.0 Well here we go again. Think this is going to be a better program for me and anyone that works out in more of a conventional gym cause it has it where you can choose a strongman program or gym lift program after you purchase it. I have teamed up with my coach @australianstrengthcoach to create this 12 week program so that everyone can benefit from the exact training structure that I follow during my competition season. Tried out the new safety squat bar with 295 @ 5x5 on it. Did my first two sets there and then dropped it down to 275. Haven’t weighed the bar yet but it’s either 61 or 62 pounds according to reviewers. Also had some killer lamb shoulder chops on Saturday done 4 hours in a sous vide bath. Interesting deadlift session today at @fastfitness.be . Deload week in @thorspowerprogram . Deloads can be boring because of the lower volume and intensity, but you can make it more annoying by not using a belt and standing on plates! How exciting hahaha... So first off I was able to try out my new knee sleeves today and I liked the quote on the box so I took a picture. Today was a milestone in my journey of working out. In all my highs and lows the greatest PR I’ve ever hit on Deadlift was 405lbs. Well on my last deadlift day of the #thorspowerprogram it called for me to attempt a PR at 405lbs. It’s been 2 years since I’ve done that weight and at the beginning of the program I barely could do 385lbs. Well I pulled it today and it felt so good I decided to pull 425lbs. It might not be pretty but I got it up there. Very happy with the progress from this program. Hit a PR on shoulder press today at 170lbs. Pretty shaky but I got it up there. Then on flat dumbbell press (with a pause) I decided to step out of my comfort zone and get 100lb dumbbells for 6. Been a long time since I’ve grabbed the 100lb dumbbells. Wish I’d honestly went for the 110lbs with how easy those came but there is always next time. Trained somewhere new today. Haven't trained in over 2 weeks so was nice just to be able to move some weight! 5*5 Bench @ 100kg 5*10 Dumbell Rows @ 40kg 5*10 Incline DB Press 4*10 @ 40kg + lots of farting around playing on things. Really not a fan of benching (can't you tell?) but happy with how my last set here felt. The dumbells felt like toys which is always nice!

So might not be anything crazy but what I see here is a lot of practice to achieve a goal. Squats have always been a weakness of mine. Mainly cause I’ve never been able to get depth cause I wasn’t flexible in my hips but after 12 weeks of doing the #thorspowerprogram I have finally got where I’m happy with my depth and the form of my squats. My PR attempt set by the the program was 320lbs this week which is the final week of the program. Well after 3 attempts I finally got one I was happy with and decided to go for more. So 325lbs is where I settled. Can’t wait the the rest of the PRs this week.
