Some days just feel like magic and today was one of them. And not just because of the views 😍 it's also day 17 of the #train20challenge and we had quite the day
This trail is apparently one of the most trafficked in Colorado and based on 1. The sheer size of the trailhead and 2. The number of people we encountered on a Monday morning, I have to agree. But we only ran into three other dogs and Honey's reactions were much more subdued (or nonexistent) and in line with what we've been working towards and that felt really good. She met a new dog friend and they were comfortable with each other so quickly, I didn't feel the need for a muzzle when we were alone or hanging out and we really didn't need it. She also got off leash muzzle time (not here) and (as usual) crushed it. Still occasional pawing after long periods of wearing it, but some treats always help her refocus on having fun and exploring.
