First, but hopefully not the last, experience out on a glacier. I’m still a way off any polar expeditions just yet but it’s a start.
Images show Mt. Andromeda and the Andromeda Glacier, a ‘cool’ close up of the Athabasca ice fall above the Glacier and the back of Mt Snow Dome. All presented in vintage B&W for that real authentic feel.
Interesting fact: if you pour a glass of water (theoretically) on top of Mt Snow Dome it could end up in the Arctic, Pacific or Atlantic Ocean depending on the route of rivers it took off the mountain. This is known as a triple continental divide, one of only a few in the world.
