Was advised to dig in - and clearly we dug deep! This Tiramisu might just have to be my new favorite thing. First, let me clarify that I’ve never been a fan of overly sweet and overly saturated/soggy Tiramisu - I feel that the Americanized version has been a bit bastardized. So, the tiramisu that most may be used to from chain places (rhymes with Schmolive Barden) this IS NOT the tiramisu for you. @gibsonsitalia makes their version with the best quality espresso, soaked perfectly into fresh lady fingers with the freshest marscapone and dusted with an intense dark cocoa. There’s only a hint of sweetness, but the flavor and texture of these high quality ingredients are showcased in your mouth! Another highlight is their Banana gelato tart with an Oreo crust. So decadent and delicious! Yes, Gibson’s Italia is a solid meal of pasta, steaks, seafood, and tasty cocktails - but I would highly recommend leaving room for dessert, especially this tiramisu! Presented in this cute pan, definitely a good option to share and finish off your stellar meal!
