I've always been a fan of details, of the intricacies in architecture, the subtle touches here and there in designs, be it products or buildings.
It has been a constant point of emphasis in my projects, and in a way it's both a blessing and a curse. Sometimes I get so caught up in the little things that I fail to see the bigger picture.
One thing that I manage to learn over the past academic year is that: start small, from the little things, and make sure that that little idea, that spark of inspiration at the very beginning, makes its way to the end of the project. When you're done and after taking a step back, if you still manage to see traces of that initial spark, then the project is considered a success.
