Since the @huskysquad came into our lives, we ( @jcandvee ) have been on the move, always heading further North chasing cooler summers. Our snow dogs’ happiness, comfort, and quality of life is our number-one priority as dog parents.
Although we’ve had a couple of heatwaves in the Swiss🇨🇭Alps, we’ve also experienced the mildest temperatures we’ve ever had as adults. Flannels, moody cloud forests, summer showers and cooler temperatures - this is the life we feel huskies deserve to live in so they can #GetTheHuskyOut every day. Huskies are highly athletic arctic dogs, and a life sitting in air conditioned rooms 24/7 is not an ideal life for this incredible working breed. They were bred to run OVER 100 miles a day, and although most huskies don’t work today, their genetics are still deeply present in who they are. They NEED to get their daily rigorous activity.
This is why we always say: Don’t just get a dog based on looks for your own desires. ADOPT a dog that fits your lifestyle, so that you can provide the life it really NEEDS to thrive, feel happy, and fulfilled.✌️
Where should we go next summer for cooler temperatures?
