. . After climbing the 1600 steps with all the photo equipment and bivouac (20kg) we had to start our descent very quickly because there was no place to bivouac, after 20min descent we made the decision to wait for the sunset and just go back with the photo equipment and it will have been a winner 👍 it was extremely cold with wind and temperatures of -4 ° C. We were very lucky because it was beautiful and that after the sky it is completely covered leaving no chance to see. . . #auroresboréales #auroresborealesphotographie #landscape #photography #nature #sky #photographer #photo #sigma #sonyalpha #travel #sonya7riii #voyaged #northern #nordemlights #nordemlight #norvège #norvège 🇳🇴 #norway #hamnøy #reine #lofoten

🇬🇧 What can I say? Except that I feel very privileged to be able to travel to such places and experience this? I took this photo using a long exposure, something I haven’t done a lof of before. Do you like it? . . . . #norge #norway #norvège #noorwegen #norwegia #norvegji #norvegia #noruega #norwegen #norsko #norra #norja #挪威 #liveterbestute #visitnorway #automne #Lofoten #lofotenisland #planetearth #voyage #ノルウェー #Norvegijoje #Норвегія #dpsambassador #dpsskis #eliassenrorbuer #hamnøy @eliassenrorbuer @visitnorway

A required shot when in Lofoten... but what they don’t tell you about this location is that the bridge (where you shoot from) moves significantly from both strong winds and traffic - both of which were a factor. Next time we will have to visit Lofoten when the sun actually sets... www.photohawker.com #hamnøy #hamnoy #lofoten #lofotenislands #lofotenhighlights #visitlofoten #norway #photoftheday #photography #photographer #landscapephotography #landscapes #allbeauty_addiction #earthshotz #earthfocus #earthpix #visitnorway #nordland #landscape_capture #norge #bvssquad #rorbu #moskenes #hamnøya

- Have you ever wondered why one of the most fascinating natural phenomena occurring on the earth develops near the poles? At a more strictly scientific level, the northern lights are produced by solar particles, mostly made up of electrons, which are pushed against the earth's magnetic field at great speed, thus colliding with the atoms of the gases present in the outer layers atmosphere. This great movement of particles produces energy generating, in our eyes, light of various wavelengths: the so-called auroral arcs. Due to the particular geometry of the Earth's magnetic field, the charge of electrons of the Sun is directed towards the two magnetic poles of the Earth, the North Pole and the South Pole. For this reason it would be more correct to call the phenomenon aurora polar, distinguishing it then in the boreal or australian depending on the hemisphere in which it takes place. - @tripinyourshoes 💚 @vibram 💛

Lofoten road trip, part 9. This is the village of Hamnøy, the oldest fishing village in Lofoten Islands. Even though it's probably the most photographed landscape in Lofoten, we drove straight past it. We simply didn't notice it the first time. Luckily we noticed it when we came back.👍 . . BTW News coming 🔜

“Do you still remember: falling stars,⁣⁣ how they leapt slantwise through the sky like horses over suddenly held-out hurdles of our wishes—did we have so many?—for stars, innumerable, leapt everywhere; almost every gaze upward became wedded to the swift hazard of their play, and our heart felt like a single thing beneath that vast disintegration of their brilliance, and was whole, as if it would survive them!” ⁣ -Rainer Maria Rilke ⁣⁣⁣ 🌠⁣⁣ Believe in your dreams as if you have an abundance of shooting stars to wish upon. Today is our last day on the Lofoten Islands. We decided to explore the 3 towns connected by the bridges you could see from yesterday’s view. With single lane bridges and very narrow roads we set off by foot to take it all in. These towns are so small and have no real land to speak of but it’s amazing what they can build on a rock or on stilts over the ocean. We also found the best chandelier ever! Tomorrow we head back to the Mainland via an early morning ferry. #hamnøy #sakrisøy #reine #norway #norwaytravel #lofoten #seaside #fishingvillage #ocean #explore_europe #explore #photography #naturephotography

We made it! Finally after thousands of kilometers we are on the Lofoten Islands!🙌 We took the ferry from Bodø to Moskenes which took about 4 hours. We drove to the small fisher village Å the same day. Totally worth a visit! The next day we did our first hike - the Reinebringen. Reinebringen is an easy one though. It is only 448 meters high and the way up is build with stairs. AND YES WE COUNTED THEM! 😄 📍Lofoten Islands - Norway _____________________________ • Can you guess the amount of stairs?😁 _____________________________ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ #reinebringen #lofotenhighlights #lofotenisland #lofotenislands #hamnøy #sakrisøy #henningsvær #åilofoten #tasteofadventure #bloggerde #travelnorway #norwaytravel #girltraveller #wandernmachtglücklich #wanders #wanderland #instagoodtime #instagoodvibes #instagoodmood #instagoodday #hikemore #travelphotoblog #travelphotografy #backpackinglife #travelphotographyoftheday #utnorge #norgejpg #visitnorge #igtravelworld #hiking_hobby

I don’t know who decided hiking to the top of a Fjord was a good idea, but now we can check it off the list. 1677 feet to the top for an amazing view. There where stone steps but the rise was so high between them it was like doing lunges all the way to the top. You’ll notice in the last 2 pictures the ridge way up above us, that was where we went. Now we sleep. #norway #traveleurope #travelnorway #explore #fjord #hiking #hikingadventures #hamnøy #reinebringen #reine #photography

Today was such an epic photography day that we completely forgot to take many cell phone pictures. Here a couple of our our journey. We started off in Å, which is the furthest town in the south of the Lofoten Islands. On our way to the beautiful Nusfjord we had an unplanned stop to watch some Surfers 🏄‍♀️ I can’t believe they where out in this cold. Nusfjord had an old fishing building that was built in 1877. We made it back to our cabin in time for golden hour. Jon captured more amazing photos of the town and I wondered over to the next town to take more shots of the Rurber. It was another epic day. #norway #hamnøy #nusfjord #nusfjordrorbuer #photography #photographytrip #explore #explorenorway #lofoten #explore_europe
