I finally got to do the Canyon Overlook trail at Zion this time around. Every previous time I’ve been by it the tiny parking lots are always filled and I kept thinking it wasn’t worth the effort to hover. This time however the lot was only half full and it was late in the day. And you can tell there was weather coming (compare it to the previous photo—they were taken maybe an hour apart). The trail is short and slightly strenuous, and at the end you get this amazing view of the drive up to the Mt. Carmel Tunnel. I as you may have guessed it was also extremely windy and a tad bit cold. Still worth it.
