Throw back to when my biggest baby was the only baby, when she would still let me dress her and fix her hair, and when I was obsessed with car seat safety.
That last part is still a part of me and always will be because it is so important to keep your kids safe and that’s easy to do in the car if that is a priority to you.
Did you know car seats expire? The plastic on the seat can become brittle from getting extremely hot in the summer and so very cold in the winter. Expiration dates are different for each seat but the manufacturer date is always listed on the side and you can look the expiration date up on the website. In order to keep your precious cargo the safest possible, you need to dispose of any seat that is past its expiration date.
This beautiful pink seat expired in December and it’s been sitting in the garage ever since. The memories my baby made in that seat will last forever and I’m thankful it kept her safe for many, many, many miles!
