Today’s tuk tuk driver was an absolute legend! It was a long journey on some bumpy roads and he didn’t stop smiling and giggling away ☀️(Mostly at us as we were being thrown around in the back 🤦🏼‍♀️)

The Wodaabe (Mbororo ) are nomadic cattle-herders and traders in the Sahel. The young Wodaabe men, with elaborate make-up, feathers and other adornments, perform the Yaake: dances and songs to impress marriageable women. The male beauty ideal of the Wodaabe stresses tallness, white eyes and teeth; therefore men will often roll their eyes and show their teeth to emphasize these characteristics. . . . No wonder the hills and groves were God’s first temples, and the more they are cut down and hewn into cathedrals and churches, the farther off and dimmer seems the Lord himself. The same may be said of stone temples. Yonder, to the eastward of our camp grove, stands one of Nature’s cathedrals, hewn from the living rock, almost conventional in form, about two thousand feet high, nobly adorned with spires and pinnacles, thrilling under floods of sunshine as if alive like a grove-temple. . . . . . #yosemite #yosemitenationalpark #johnmuir #quotes #houseoftones #discoverearth #theimaged #wildernessnation #california #ca #vibesofvisuals #modernwild #visualsoflife #earthfocus #roamtheplanet #earth_shotz #exploretocreate #theearthoutdoors #agameoftones #artofvisuals #inspire #explore #discover #destinations #stayandwander #yosemitenps #johnmuirquote #sunset #summer

Palm trees make my heart happy. I grew up in the Midwest, so I always associated palm trees with family vacations and happy memories. I remember when I first moved to Florida and walked out of Target and saw palm trees in the parking lot. I was just running some boring errands, but seeing the palm trees made the mundane occasion feel special. It reminded me of the saying “create a life you don’t need a vacation from”. So I’m trying to do just that, one day at a time ✨ Hope you’re having a great Tuesday!

lately I’ve been feeling more and more inspired I know that I’m constantly saying that on my stories but it is true. Not only that I am feeling inspired, I’m feeling extremely grateful for literally everything I have. A huge change is happening in my life but I’m not even suprised because I wanted that change and I was preparing for it. My style is slowly evolving and it’s crazy how putting in the work and putting the time into something you truly love can actually heal you mentally. This shot represents clarity in my mind.

Just monkey around on the top of Pidurangala 🙈🙉🙊. Situated in the area of Sigiriya. It's a 30 minutes hike and a bit a climbing at the end to reach the top. You will have an incredible 360 view of the area and on the Lion Rock. We made it for the sunrise and it was incredible. . #PidurangalaRock #Sigiriya #SriLanka

Artesonraju! Also known als the mountain from Paramount! This 6025m beast was covered most of the hike, but on the third morning he definitely gave us a moody show! I am forever humbled by these giants. Everybody with an ego should just hike and realize how small they actually are. The world would be a better place. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . #peru #perutravel #travelperu #exploretocreate #artofvisuals #agameoftones #roamtheplanet #solarcollective #lesothers #weltraumzine #imaginarymagnitude #gominimalmag #stademagazine #allaboutadventures #wonderlustcollective #peakscollective #beautifuldestinations #instagood #mountainstones #mountains #visitsouthamerica #getoutdoors #rsa_folknature #visualsofearth #earthfocus #earth_pix #earthpix #earthofficial #hikinglife #asadventure

• Coffee break with a panoramic view like this ? Head to "Lereng Anteng" in Bandung and enjoy the beautiful scenery from the top while sipping our fantastic Luwak coffee ☕️ and 'pisang goreng' (fried banana) 👍 . Any plan to visit Indonesia this year ? If you've been to Bali before, maybe this is the best time to explore the western part of our country 😊

• • • • In Morocco, goats literally go up in the trees to feed themselves with the fruits of these! It's crazy how animals have managed to impress me while I'm travelling and I'm still learning a little more about their lifestyle each time and I like it! • • 🐐 And you, by what animal have you been surprised recently during a trip? What impressed you? • • • • #goatstagram #moroccotravel #morrocobeauty #moroccovacations #maroc #animalfanatics #inthetrees

Mysore Palace An incredibly breathtaking example of Indo - Saracenic style of architecture, the Mysore Palace is a magnificent edifice located in Mysore in the state of Karnataka. Also known as the Amba Vilas Palace, it is the former palace of the royal family of Mysore and is still their official residence. Referred to as the 'City of Palaces', Mysore houses seven other places, but none come close to awe - inspiring grandeur of this palace. Mysore Palace was built in the year 1912 for the 24th Ruler of the Wodeyar Dynasty and is counted amongst one of the biggest palaces in the country. The construction of the Mysore Palace was orchestrated by the Maharaja Krishnaraja Wadiyar IV referred as "Rajarishi" (saintly king) by Mahatma Gandhi. It was then further expanded by his son and the last Maharaja of Mysore, Maharaja Jayachamaraja Wadiyar. The facade of the palace is a harmonious blend of Hindu, Muslim, Rajput and Gothic styles which imparts it a regal quality. With the Chamundi Hills towards its eastern side, the spectacle of the Mysore Palace is an enchanting sight to behold. Needless to say, it is the second most visited historical monument visited by both local and foreign tourists after the Taj Mahal. Presently located inside the Old Fort, Mysore Palace is renowned for its light & sound show and vibrant Dussehra celebrations. #Ekahx #ekahxcommunity #ekahx #ekahexploremore #exahexperiences For stay experiences Log in to www.ekahx.in
