Spring is such a tease.
Some days you’re peeling off your coat and switching to shorts. Others you’re cursing the wind for hurting your face instead of being that long awaited warm breeze.
This is the first legit spring I’ve experienced since 2016, as the past two years Vanny and I were chasing early summer as it moved from south to north.
Days of warmth in March, like this at Prince William Forest Park in Northern Virginia, make me lust for that early summer. That feeling of walking outside without preparing to keep all your fingers and toes.
I vacillate between wanting to do anything I can to live in a temperate place, and wondering if people in San Diego miss out by not getting these “tease” moments. If the sameness gets dull and makes you lose appreciation for those moments you excitedly walk outside in shorts and a t-shirt.
What say you? Do you get all the seasons? Fewer? Do you like it or want the other?
