and drove back to Yosemite National Park, alongside the Merced River blooming with spring’s wildflowers and entering the park via the dramatic Arch Rock Entrance. With some more time up our sleeves to explore I tour-guided for us. First stop: standing underneath the thundering, windswept “Bridalveil Falls” with a double rainbow to boot.

✧✧✧ NEW BLOG POST ✧✧✧ Gold Rush Rally road trip along Highway 49. @visitcalifornia 💫💛 You had me at road-trip and ‘history and culture.’ - - And so, that’s how it happens. You’re standing alone on the other side of the world (again) ready to embark on a journey, to meet new people, to hit the asphalt with new lessons to unfold; as they always do along on the road. Moody and beautiful - just the way I like you, @Tasmania. ☁️🖤 First light at the edge of the world, sitting atop of ‘The Blade’ at Cape Pillar. Waiting for the break of a new day I was mesmerised by the ocean, the relentlessly crashing waves, and imagining the simple beauty of what life was like for the lighthouse keeper (in 1906) when the island had farm animals and a little veggie patch. So far removed from the world; a highlight of the multi-day coastal walk along Three Capes Tack. 💫 #discovertasmania

But I hope you linger • Early morning light dancing across a perfectly calm Dove Lake, as the fog lifted to reveal what is widely considered one of @tasmania ’s premier wilderness regions. 🌾💛 #DiscoverTasmania // On this particular morning my friend @itsworthashot and I attempted Hanson’s Peak hike in the dark and approximately 20 minutes from the summit the trail became too icy and we had to make the decision to turn around and head back down safely. We then proceeded to walk to the popular Boat Shed, happy to be out in nature, but disappointed as Cradle was still shrouded in thick fog. So, we decided to call it a morning and head back to the warmth of a fire and hopefully a hot breakfast. After almost 3 hours of trying, we made it within 10 metres of where we had parked the car, the easiest vantage and access point to Dove Lake and stood in awe as the magic (finally) begun with a perspective worth reflecting on; that’s the beauty and unpredictability of nature. 💫

Looking down upon some of the planet’s highest sea cliffs. A picturesque introduction to @Tasmania ’s cliff-hugging wilderness and mother nature’s dramatic work. Few places on Earth remain that feel so remote and rugged, leaving me breathless. #DiscoverTasmania 🖤

Last month, whilst in America, I made an impromptu decision to book a flight and road- trip through untravelled destinations with old friends. All made possible with the easy booking of @webjet_au and secure payment by checking out with @PayPal. ☺️⠀ // We drove countless hours through the forests of PNW, through the desert to Idaho, Utah & Nevada and back to camp underneath the stars by the lakes of PNW, making memories along the way I will cherish for the rest of my life. 🏕🌲🌌⠀ Where do you dream of taking a spontaneous trip to?⠀ #PayPal #ad

The allure of Mount Wellington is that it is ever-changing. The charm of Hobart and its surrounds is a constant source of both inspiration and escape. 💫🌿• // A morning spent embracing the elements and the simple pleasures of a burning winter sky as the colours transformed the city below. And the journey to the top, by foot, is full of twists and turns, with new wonders to be discovered around every corner. @Tasmania #discovertasmania 💕

The achingly beautiful highlands of @Tasmania. • No matter how many times I visit I am captivated but the rugged, otherworldly beauty of Cradle Mountain. High dolerite cliffs, iconic peaks and breathing in the crisp, clean air; my mind disappears into those layers. I certain I could happily spend the rest of my life returning here. // Little story behind the image: after hiking and climbing to Marion’s Lookout there was a narrow window of light, before the clouds rolled in. Literally 5-10 minutes to capture Cradle Mountain before a total white out. It is moments like this that make you stand truly present in awe of the powerful enchantress that is Mother Nature. #discovertasmania #cradlemountain *Please be safe outdoors - the weather can change dramatically in minutes. Always be prepared with a head torch, correct hiking gear, drinking water and let someone know where you are and when to expect your return. ❣️

Where the wild things are • Taking in the remote and rugged beauty of @tasmania ’s Southwest wilderness. 🖤 // Departing from Hobart, we flew over the Derwent River, Bruny Island & followed this stunning coastline into the Southwest National Park, to the South East Cape, the most southern point of Australia. A day of exploring by land, air and sea - @tasmania you keep stealing my heart more with every visit! #discovertasmania
